Derek Gee Installations Pty Ltd commenced working on the Gorgon LNG Project on Barrow Island, Western Australia in March 2013, working with our Clients; Leighton Contractors / CPB Contractors, Thiess, CKJV (CB&I Kentz JV), CB&I Tanks and Sarplast.
Employing up to 150 people on site, we have been involved with pipe pre-spooling and installation of the 50 kilometres and 5,000 joints of both Sarplast and NOV-FGS (Ameron) GRVE/GRE piping. Upon completion of the GRVE scope we were awarded the internal fit out of over 1,200 Firewater Valve pits and Class 1 & 2 Manholes and Valve pits, which included Valve Installation and internal furniture fit out.View details

Derek Gee Installations Pty Ltd commenced working on the Ichthys Onshore LNG Facilities Project in Darwin, Northern Territory in October 2013, working with our Clients; Leighton Contractors / CPB Contractors (on and off site), CH2-UGL Joint Venture (on and off site), JKC, and Laing O’Rourke.
Employing up to 50 FIFO and locals on site and in workshops, we have been involved in pre-spooling and pipe installation of approximately 18 kilometres of underground GRE/GRVE pipe ranging from DN100 up to DN1800mm, carbon steel vent piping, grouting on pit penetrations, hydro testing and set up of trenches. Perth: Western Australia
Derek Gee installations installed over 17 kms of GRP pipework onsite at the Binningup stage 2 Desalination plant in Western Australia, commencing work on the February 7th, 2012 and finishing in June 2013.
Employing up to 70 people onsite, we were responsible for all the GRP pipe installation, and joint laminations. Including the complete HYDRO/pneumatic testing of all pipework and tanks, membrane loading, strainer spooling modifications for stage 1 and 2, miscellaneous mechanical works and site commissioning.
Over 2800 joints were completed with no remedial work, with over 100,000 man hours with no lost time injuries, as a result of the strong site safety discipline applied, and procedures adopted on site.View details
Port Stanvac: South Australia
Derek Gee Installations tendered on, and were successful in winning the onsite fibreglass Installation package for the Adelaide Desalination plant. This project undertaken over a 28 month period, is the largest infrastructure project in South Australia capable of producing 100GL of drinking water per year.
With our strong focus on Quality and project requirements, this work was completed on time with no remedial work required, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our experienced workforce that included over 50 employees.View details
